Common questions about the subscription

When am I charged?

The first payment is charged right after activation. After that, monthly on the same day. You can cancel any time — no notice period, no fees.

Can I cancel the subscription at any time?

Yes, any time. After cancellation, the subscription continues until the end of the paid month. After that, the vault switches to read-only mode — your data is not lost.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Your data stays local on your PC — we have no access to it. You can export a backup at any time before you cancel.

Is there a free trial?

Downloading the app is free. Full functionality (unlimited accounts, TOTP, backup) requires an active subscription. Basic features can be used without one.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Our online shop currently accepts crypto payments only. If you want to pay with another payment method, please contact us through our Discord server.

What are the system requirements?

Account Manager runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). An internet connection is only required for updates and license activation.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. All data stays exclusively on your local device. No external transmission takes place — not for sync, not for backup.

What if I forget my master password?

The master password is intentionally not resettable — any reset mechanism would undermine the security model. Without it, the vault cannot be decrypted. We strongly recommend creating regular encrypted backups.

Which platforms are supported?

Battle.net, PlayStation, Xbox and Steam are supported today. More platforms may be added in future updates.

How do backups work?

You can export your vault as an encrypted file at any time. The export is protected with its own password and can be imported on any Windows device running the app.

How does the update system work?

The app automatically checks for new versions on launch and shows an update banner. Updates can be triggered manually or deferred — you stay in control.

Is there a free trial?

The download is free. Full functionality requires license activation. Licensing details are shown inside the app after first launch.

Does TOTP work without an internet connection?

Yes. TOTP codes are generated locally and require no internet connection. As long as your system clock is correct, codes work reliably.
